With the continuous upgrading of modern entertainment consumption, traditional KTV is transforming into a party entertainment space that integrates music, lighting, digital vision and immersive experience.
Located in Qingxiu District, Nanning City, Guangxi, MIXXX Party KTV features modern technology style, theme party box and dynamic lighting experience, combining traditional singing entertainment with nightclub-style music atmosphere.
In July 2021, * * Shenzhen AOSHOW Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. (AOSHOW)* * participated in the MIXXX Party KTV indoor intelligent lighting project, providing SPI RGB digital pixel lamp belt, AS-SDMX master control, AS-832M Art-Net sub-control and MADRIX 5 professional lighting programming services, and the technical team participated in on-site lighting debugging.
The balcony lighting system of the first phase of the project adopts 5500 m SPI RGB pixel light strips, with 15 AS-SDMX master controls and 60 AS-832M sub-controls. Through digital pixel mapping and dynamic lighting effect programming, a rich visual atmosphere is created for the party balcony.
1. project background: Let the traditional KTV upgrade to immersive party space
Unlike traditional KTV, which mainly relies on fixed colors and simple lighting changes, party KTV pays more attention to the coordination between lighting and music, decoration structure and entertainment atmosphere.
MIXXX Party KTV creates an entertainment experience with a sense of nightclub technology through theme boxes, digital pixel lighting and professional audio.
For such spaces, lighting is not only a decoration, but also an important part of shaping the mood of the scene.
When the rhythm of music is enhanced, dynamic lighting can enhance the party atmosphere through pixel chasing, color switching and brightness pulse. When entering the casual communication scene, you can create a comfortable space experience through soft gradient and low brightness lighting effect.
AOSHOW combines the decoration structure of the balcony and the requirements of digital lighting, adopts SPI RGB programmable pixel light strip, integrates the light into the ceiling, wall surface and decorative lines, and realizes the dynamic lighting effect of different themes through MADRIX software.
2. project challenge: how stable operation of large-scale pixel lighting?
1. Multi-room lighting control
There are differences in the area, lamp layout and decoration style of different boxes. It is necessary to carry out independent pixel mapping and lighting effect configuration according to the actual space to avoid using exactly the same lighting parameters to affect the visual performance.
2. High-density pixel control
The project uses SPI RGB strips with 60 LEDs and 20 control pixels per meter. Large-scale light strip installation puts forward higher requirements for controller capacity, signal transmission, power distribution and line management.
3. Music and dynamic light coordination
Party KTV needs to match different music types with lights to present running water, gradient, pulse and rhythm changes. Therefore, professional software is needed to finely adjust the animation speed, brightness and color.

MIXXX project adopts MADRIX 5 professional lighting software, AS-SDMX master control and AS-832M Art-Net control system.

Pixel mapping according to the actual installation position of the box light strip, so that the light animation can run correctly along different spatial structures.
AS-SDMX master controller
The first phase of the project is equipped with 15 AS-SDMX masters to provide lighting playback and control management support for the corresponding areas.
According to the actual connection mode of the control system, the digital lighting scene output can be completed with the sub-control equipment.
AS-832M Art-Net sub-control
The first phase of the project is equipped with 60 AS-832M sub-controls.
The AS-832M supports Art-Net network control and can output SPI digital pixel signals according to the device configuration, which is suitable for multi-zone LED lighting projects.
Provide digital control support for different boxes and decorative areas by properly planning control ports, number of pixels and equipment distribution.
SPI RGB Digital Pixel Strip
With a configuration of 60 LEDs/m and 20 pixels/m, it supports pixel-by-pixel control, which can realize color change, water chasing and other dynamic effects.
