1. Product Overview
AOSHOWAS-SDMX intelligent LED main controller is a set of DMX512 professional lighting control, network control management, SD card offline playback, digital pixel mapping and intelligent lighting effect management in one of the large LED lighting main control equipment.
The product adopts the system architecture of the combination of master control and sub-control, and a single AS-SDMX main controller supports the connection of up to 16 AS-832M sub-controllers. Under the specified RGB driving mode, each sub-control unit nominally supports 6144 independent pixels, and the whole system theory can control up to 98304 RGB pixels, meeting the engineering requirements of large-scale stage stage, 3D stereo matrix lamp, bar nightclub, KTV, night tour of cultural tourism and lighting of architectural art.
The device is equipped with two RJ45 network communication interfaces, NET1 and NET2, supporting connections to compatible devices via Cat-5e Ethernet cables. The maximum single-segment communication distance over standard Ethernet copper cabling is 100 meters, enabling the construction of a distributed LED pixel control system tailored to the project’s scale.
The system supports three primary operating modes: PC-based online control, DMX512 professional console control, and SD card–based offline playback. Among these, real-time pixel control via computer can directly send data to the AS-832M sub-controller through compatible software; the AS-SDMX master controller primarily handles functions such as preset program management, offline playback, and DMX console effect invocation.
Through MADRIX, TouchDesigner, MadMapper, Resolume and other professional software and compatible control systems, 2D/3D pixel mapping, dynamic light wave, RGB gradient, music linkage and real-time digital art lighting effects can be realized.
Supports MA Lighting (grandMA), Avolites (Tiger console), KingKong consoles, and other DMX512‑compatible professional lighting consoles. Through a 10‑channel DMX control mode, it enables control over overall brightness, RGBW color, lighting programs, playback speed, forward/reverse direction, strobing, and transition effects.
The product supports offline program playback of 2GB SD card, and the lighting effect produced by MADRIX can be saved to SD card through compatible recording or conversion process, thus realizing light program playback without continuous online operation of computer.
Supports grayscale control ranging from 32 levels to 65,536 levels, along with software-based gamma correction. It is compatible with a variety of LED driver ICs, including UCS, WS, TM, LX, GS, SM, and DMX512, providing flexible system configuration options for professional lighting projects.

System capacity description:
16 sub-controllers × 6,144 RGB pixels per controller = 98,304 RGB pixels.
This value represents the theoretical system upper limit under the specified driving mode and does not guarantee performance across all driver ICs, grayscale modes, refresh rates, or project configurations. The actual stable load capacity must be determined in conjunction with the distributed control firmware, luminaire protocols, network load, and field testing.
3. large LED network master control and sub-control system
